The first known zodiac circle appeared in Egypt at the ancient site of Ta-ynt-netert. It's known as the Zodiac of Dendera, and the ancient illustration dates back to 50 B.C. This Zodiac Circle contained what would become the fixed elements of the astrological zodiac. The circle illustrates the rotation of the planets, as well as the constellations along the Zodiac Circle.
